Jennifer Lawrence Recalls Getting "Wasted" at the Oscars, Puking in Front of Miley Cyrus

jlaw and miley

You know you've had a crazy night when Miley Cyrus tells you to pull it together. During an April 21 taping of NBC's Late Night With Seth Meyers (for an episode airing May 21), Jennifer Lawrence recalled having a little too much fun at this year's Oscars, which she attended with BFF Laura Simpson.

The 23-year-old Hunger Games: Catching Fire star, who was nominated for a Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for her role in American Hustle, told Meyers she was "wasted" at the March 2 ceremony in L.A. She was so out of it, she said, that she got sick at a post-show bash—and Cyrus witnessed the whole thing.

"Jen said she was so drunk, she puked on the stairs at Madonna's after-party, and Miley walked by and said something like, 'Get it together, girl!'" a Late Night audience member shares in the new issue of Us Weekly.

Lawrence—whose red carpet antics (such as falling and photobombing) have endeared her to moviegoers everywhere—also shared a story about hanging out with Brad Pitt at the show. (Angelina Jolie's fiance was there in support of his Best Picture-winning movie 12 Years a Slave.)

"Jen said he smelled like sandalwood," the audience member tells Us of Lawrence, who lost to Pitt's costar Lupita Nyong'o. "She was so fun!"

'Why is she in her underwear?' Twitter uproar over Beyonce’s Time magazine cover

It’s one of the most sought-after magazine covers of the year, and this year, Beyonce was one of the people chosen for the prestigious spot.

But when Time's ‘100 most influential’ issue hit newsstands on Thursday featuring Queen Bey on the cover, it started an online storm.

Hordes of commentators took to social media to lambast the magazine for the singer's outfit, or rather, lack of it.

Twitter was buzzing with angry comments. 'Couldn't Beyoncé have worn clothes for her cover?' says one.

'Beyoncé...most influential person of 2014. Great, well done. But why does she have to be in her underwear?,' tweets another.

Even her loyal fans had something to say about it. 'I absolutely LOVE Beyonce but that outfit is SO Miley Cyrus,' is one fan's response.

The controversial cover also had bloggers tapping away furiously.

'Thigh-high boots, corsets, the teeniest of short shorts may be Beyoncé's look du jour, but do they really have a place on Time magazine's cover?' wrote blogger Brogan Driscoll on the Huffington Post.

'Bey says Time magazine's recognition is important "because it's not about fashion or beauty or music; it's about the influence I've had on culture." So why does she have to come half-dressed?' she adds.

The short profile written on the star, by Beyonce’s friend and Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg, begins: 'Beyonce doesn’t just sit at the table. She builds a better one. Today she sits at the head of the boardroom table at Parkwood Entertainment.'

As the magazine is celebrating the star’s business achievements and successes, many asked if an image of the star in her underwear was appropriate.

'You decide she's the most influential person. In the world. And then you let her grace your cover in her underwear. You don't see how pathetic that is?' reader Elisavet Papoutsi wrote on TIME's Facebook page.

Why is Beyoncé in her bra and pants on the cover of time magazine, while all the men are pictured looking bloodily (sic) intellectual,' tweets journalist Sarah Vine.

'IMO it looks really sleazy and slutty and she is a mother that needs to be a better role model,' writes another.

The TIME 100 Music Stars Prove This Was the Year of Pop Feminism

Miley Cyrus is no Shinzo Abe, but that doesn’t mean the pop stars on this year’s TIME 100 don’t get political. In fact, the one thing this year’s most influential pop artists have in common is a shared interest in women’s rights. But Beyoncé, Miley and Pharrell aren’t just accidental feminists — they’ve actively promoted women’s empowerment through their songs, videos, and interviews, making feminism a explicit part of their respective public images. With their help, this was the year of pop feminism.

(It’s worth noting that Carrie Underwood also made the list of top musicians, but her domination last year wasn’t about the monolithic chart saturation that made the other three so significant. She’s also shied away from identifying herself as a feminist : the star of NBC’s record-breaking live production of The Sound of Music has said she “wouldn’t go so far as to say I’m a feminist, that can come off as a negative connotation” — though she insists she’s “certainly a strong woman.”)

For the three on the list who had blockbuster releases — Beyoncé, Miley Cyrus and Pharrell Williams — feminism is the new frontier, a realm that demands exploration. For the former two, they aren’t considered feminists just because they’re influential women; it’s a central component of their work. You could even say that feminism is to 2014 pop stars what sex was to 1964 rockers: it’s nothing new, but it’s suddenly become electrifying.

Queen Bey is the most obvious example. Her surprise video album was the biggest music story of 2013 (and the fastest-selling album in iTunes history), but it wasn’t just the marketing genius that drove it to the top of the Billboard charts. The overtly feminist videos spoke directly to a generation working to embrace female self-empowerment as a political and social priority. There was nothing screechy about Beyoncé’s message. She presents stylishly nuanced ideas about beauty in “Pretty Hurts,” love in “Drunk in Love” and motherhood in “Blue,” and even includes a lengthy quote from Nigerian feminist author Chimamanda Adichie in “Flawless.”

Beyoncé rarely says the word “feminist,” but she lets Adichie define it as “a person who believes in the social, political, and economic equality of the sexes.” That definition happens right in the middle of her song. Show me another pop star who interrupts their singing to quote some social theory, and I’ll strip down and climb onto a wrecking ball.

Miley Cyrus is a different story. Pop’s most controversial diva had lots of moms tut-tutting about her twerking at the VMAs and lots of critics outraged at her racial politics, but she says her post-Disney schtick embraces a new kind of female sexuality that has nothing to do with what men want. When’s the last time you saw a foam finger in porn? Never.

If Beyoncé used feminism as the new sex, Miley insists she’s using sex as a form of feminism. “I’m one of the biggest feminists in the world because I tell women not to be scared of anything,” she told BBC’s Newsbeat. “I don’t actually walk around all day twerking with my tongue out dressed as a teddy bear.” For Miley, her nudity in “Wrecking Ball” was never about objectification — it was about fearlessness. Whether you agree with her or not, she’s certainly outspoken about her beliefs.

Pharrell’s LP G I R L might seem only superficially feminist in that it’s roughly a concept album in praise of women, but the hat-loving Oscar nominee has been publicly dedicating his new hit album to modern women in a string of interviews. And while the nod might sound condescending coming from a co-creator of “Blurred Lines” (a song known as much for its problematic intimations as it is for being catchy), Pharrell actually gets real about feminist politics when he talks to the media. “[Women] don’t get paid as much as men do — that needs to change,” he said in an interview on Good Morning America. “We’re a species that has a Martian rover on the surface of Mars, but yet we’re still the same species that tries to tell women what they can and can’t do with their bodies.” That’s a clear feminist statement — and one that not all male artists would be willing to make.

He’s also got some opinions about the 2016 Presidential election. “Let me tell you why Hillary’s going to win,” he told GQ. “when you think about a night where there’s late-night talk-show hosts and it’s mostly women, that’s a different world. Right? A world where seventy-five percent of the prime ministers and the presidents were women: That’s a different world. That’s gonna happen, and it’s gonna happen when Hillary wins.”

Pharrell might not have Beyoncé’s nuance or Miley’s boldness, but he represents a brand of pop feminism that’s not just for women anymore. And even if his dedication to women’s issues feels reductive (and some argue, fairly, that men shouldn’t need a gold star for believing in equality), it’s still a sign that feminism is pop’s politics du jour, and it’s not by accident.

Sure, this was the year where feminism and pop intersected in a big way — and maybe that’s made the discussion fashionable. But who cares? It’s moving the conversation forward, so girls — and the men who respect them — actually can run the world.

Miley Cyrus Drug Detox – Was That Part of Her Medical Emergency?

When Miley Cyrus was admitted to the hospital recently her handlers insisted that she had fallen victim to a severe allergic reaction to an antibiotic that she had been taking for a sinus infection. Any one who has ever had a medication induced allergic reaction will tell you that treatment usually includes a heavy duty steroid and at worst an IV filled with meds to offset the reaction – hospitalization for a week is kind of unheard of. It’s tough to get admitted to the hospital and even harder to be granted an extended stay so right from the start this Miley story smelled funny.

According to the May 5th print edition of Star Magazine even Miley’s friends seem to agree. They are running on the notion that Miley’s hard-partying lifestyle caused her body to finally collapse and that she was actually undergoing some sort of detox program. There also is another possibility. She very well could have had a sinus infection and even an allergic reaction. Given Miley’s inability to stop partying doctor’s could have admitted her to make sure that she didn’t use any other drugs that could have negatively interacted with the antibiotics that she needed.

Just a reminder that the statement released by Miley’s handlers after her ‘emergency’ admittance to hospital was:

“She was prescribed the antibiotic Cephalexin which she has now suffered an extreme allergic reaction to. This type of extreme reaction can last from five to 27 days in these types of cases. She will remain hospitalized and is under a doctor’s care until we see some improvement in her condition and is asking for your compassion and privacy at this time.”

I looked up the allegedly offending drug Cephalexin and in extremely rare circumstances it has been known to cause anaphylaxis. However this occurs in less than 1 in 1000 people and is the only adverse side effect of Cephalexin which would require emergency hospitalization. But here is the rub, even if Miley did experience anaphylaxis as a consequence of taking Cephalexin, the maximum period of hospitalization would be 24 hours! From wiki – “A period of in-hospital observation for between 2 and 24 hours is recommended for people once they have returned to normal due to concerns of biphasic anaphylaxis.“

Does the available evidence support the claim by Miley’s people that she was in hospital for an allergic reaction? Let us know in the comments.

Miley Cyrus Released from Hospital

The pop star reportedly plans to travel to Europe to resume her Bangerz tour after rescheduling her U.S. shows

Dolly Parton to Miley Cyrus: You don’t “have to be so drastic”

Miley Cyrus has been dubbed one of the most influential people in the world by Time, which is maybe a good thing or maybe a bad thing, we have yet to see, according to Dolly Parton in a lukewarm endorsement for the star in the magazine.

Given that all of the entries for Time’s 100 people have been tributes penned by people of no small renown — Sheryl Sandberg fawned over Beyoncé, Barack Obama paid his respects to Pope Francis, Gabrielle Giffords penned an homage to Malala Yousafzai — Parton’s support for Cyrus seemed laughably restrained.

Parton lent forward support laden with advice. The country and pop singer’s blurb began with a backhanded compliment: “If I didn’t know how smart and talented Miley is, I might worry about her.”

Parton expanded on this statement, emphasizing that though Cyrus is “smart” and she “knows what she’s doing,” her image change from Hannah Montana to professional twerker has been “completely drastic” (the irony here, given Parton’s publicized penchant for plastic surgery, is rich), and hopes that Cyrus can now “relax” with all that “drastic” stuff.

Here’s the paragraph in full:

If I didn’t know how smart and talented Miley is, I might worry about her. But I’ve watched her grow up. So I don’t. She knows what she’s doing. She was very proud of the work she did as Hannah Montana, but people were gonna leave her there forever. And she was just smotherin’ and chokin’ in it. So she felt she had to do something completely drastic. And she did. She made her point, she made her mark, and more power to her. “Wrecking Ball” is a great song. The whole album is great. So I’m hoping that now she can relax and show people how talented she really is. ’Cause the girl can write. The girl can sing. The girl is smart. And she doesn’t have to be so drastic. But I will respect her choices. I did it my way, so why can’t she do it her way?

Miley Cyrus Hooked Up With Justin Bieber's Dad Jeremy, Claims Ridiculous Rumor

hahaha9

A new rumor is linking Miley Cyrus to Jeremy Bieber – Justin’s dad.

You read that correctly.

The report is being spread by Sugarscape, a British webloid that claims there are “reports” that Cyrus “had a bit of a ‘thing’ with Bieber in a hotel room recently.”

A so-called “inside source” is quoted as saying, “Justin and Jeremy rented a suite at a hotel in LA a couple of weeks ago and had a bunch of people over. Miley was there partying hard, and she and Jeremy ended up in one of the bedrooms together for over an hour.”

“Justin would be all for it,” adds the Sugarscape source. “He’s been helping his dad get girls for years.”

Ugh.

This story, of course, is 100 percent bogus.

There is no brewing romance between Jeremy Bieber and Miley Cyrus.

There was no hotel hookup between them, either.

It seems like the tabloid press, having been proven wrong with fake stories about Cyrus getting together with Justin Bieber, is now floating even more ridiculous rumors about Jeremy.

A source close to the situation tells Gossip Cop the rumor is “absurd” and “laughable.”

Let’s nip this one in the bud.

Madonna 2014 album news

Is Madonna's 13th Album Already Finished? Someone Claims To Have Heard It!

Madonna's discography is getting larger rather quickly. The waiting time from "Confessions on a Dance Floor" to "Hard Candy" was of three years, and the latter to "MDNA" was four years, and today it all points out the Queen of Pop will be releasing a new album this year! And that would mean that...(taking off the 'MDNA' touring period), that Madonna only had one full year to record this?

Today, Monday, April 21st, we find out the 13th studio album of her career may be already DONE. Her close friends and long time collaborators, fashion photographers Mert and Marcus (who work together as duo), uploaded, in the early hours of Monday, a photo they had just taken of Madonna in their hotel room on Instagram. The caption reads:

'In my room listening to the NEW ALBUM!!!!! Im DYING!!!!!! LET ME LOVE YOU FROM INSIDE OUT ???????? @madonna'

Madonna List Of New Album Collaborators Grows To Include MoZella, S1 And Toby Gad

Madonna isn’t taking any chances with her new LP. The pop icon has been cooking up tunes with EDM hitmaker du jour Avicii as well as collaborating with fellow diva/gun songwriter Natalia Kills. Now you can add MoZella , Symbolyc One (often referred to as S1) and Toby Gad to that extremely promising list.

So who are Madonna’s latest collaborators? Toby Gad should be familiar to most of you as the man who penned Beyonce‘s “If I Were A Boy” and Fergie‘s “Big Girls Don’t Cry”. S1 has also worked with Queen Bey (he produced “Best Thing I Never Had”), while MoZella was actually signed to Maverick Records — the Material Girl’s old label — in the early ’00s and released a couple of great albums and EPs.

Now she’s perhaps best known for writing Miley Cyrus‘ brilliant “Wrecking Ball”. With this trio on board, it’s a pretty safe bet that they are working on a ballad. Which is great news because you need an occasional break from the floorfillers and some of Madonna’s best songs are slow jams (“Live To Tell”, “Take A Bow” and “Rain”).

Source 2

Do you think she's planning a summer release, or a Beyoncé-like iTunes release?

The producers have me thinking she's going to be trying something more ballad based/Adele inspired.

Lindsay Finale Shocker: Lohan Reveals She Had A Secret Miscarriage — FULL RECAP

“Lindsay” came to a dramatic conclusion on Sunday, with a two-hour final episode comprised of parts 7 and 8 of the OWN documentary — with the biggest shocker coming at the very end.

The finale kicked off with Lohan arriving late for her car-smashing (and free) appearance on “Billy on the Street,” complaining of a “really bad chest cold.”

Now 127 days out of rehab, the star next headed to Miami for December’s Art Basel festival, where she wanted to relax in the sun and skip events.

Production didn’t travel with Lohan for the trip, but she turned the camera on herself, showcasing the exclusive and luxurious Star Island — and skipping the alleged violent altercation with Paris Hilton’s younger brother.

Explained Lohan’s assistant Matt Harrell, “One of the guests, Barron Hilton, refused to leave after [getting asked by] the homeowner Ray. They ended up getting into a heated argument, and Barron got punched, and Lindsay got blamed for it.”

Asked by director Amy Rice about the tabloid stories in the wake of the fight, Lohan replied ”I’m not going to explain… Because I had been a guest at the house a few days prior to stuff going down, my name was involved, which, it is what it is. It’s frustrating, because I didn’t have any part in it.”

The star went on to complain to Harrell about the prolonged, sensationalized media coverage, and wanted to post her side of the story on her website, but ultimately didn’t when her team advised against it.

Lohan later blew off some steam at a restaurant, where her friends drank and spoke about getting high.

“It’s learning to [find] a way to live so you can still have fun, but without drugs and alcohol in your life,” she told the camera, saying when she gets tempted, she flashes back to all the horrible things that came from her addiction, and that keeps her in check.

Lohan also relied on her community service at the Duffield Children’s Center in Brooklyn to lift her spirits (and fulfill the terms of her probation), but admitted to the camera that she really wishes the court would say she’s done enough “after all these years.”

"I’ve managed to make changes in my life, with me as a person, that allows me to live a life that maybe I wasn’t ready for before,” she acknowledged. “It’s calm down a bit more. It’s been more productive. Before I was getting bored and antsy. That’s never a good place for me.”

The actress later went to her biggest public appearance (another one she did for free) since leaving rehab — introducing Miley Cyrus at Jingle Ball at Madison Square Garden — explaining that she likes such events because it’s a way to connect with fans, a “blessing” she’s “grateful” for.

Before a business meeting, Lohan lamented to the camera, “I’m tired of not getting cast in movies… There’s all these other people living this life, and I have to be willing to do something, whatever it takes, to get that back.”

She explained that she realized, “It must be the going out, it must be creating distractions for myself, not letting myself move forward. I just want to be making movies, starring in them producing them, and years from now directing them.”

The former child star met with Inconceivable producer Hilary Schor, who said being in the film would “reestablish” that Lohan is “an incredibly talented actress.”

“I think there are concerns with any young actor…,” Schor said told the camera. “[But] I think she’s 100 percent committed, and at a state in her life where she really wants to get back to work.”

The final hour began with Lohan getting interviewed by Jared Leto for his star-studded video about Los Angeles, with the actress nearly 150 days out of rehab and happy to be settled and feeling at home in New York.

“I was lonely in L.A. a lot. I was kind of just lost for a while,” she confessed. “I have a good support system in New York. It’s really just who you surround yourself with, and I didn’t know that for a while, because I was in denial. It’s more comfortable to have the yes people than the no people.”

Now believing she has a “life worth living,” Lohan moved forward with her career, arriving on time to a shoot for Nylon Singapore, and the photographer had nothing but effusive phrase for her.

Lohan loved the experience, pointing out that, in contrast, paparazzi just “wait til you’re sneezing to say you’re crying,” and went on to meet with a literary agent about a possible “multi-million dollar” book deal.

She explained, “I love writing… I have a lot of things to say that I feel people will relate to in different ways. So if I can help someone by putting my words on paper, then that’s the reason to do it.”

Lohan’s next appearance came with her brother, Michael, at the launch party for their karaoke app Just Sing It, where — after fans left — she was again surrounded by alcohol.

Michael told the camera, “She’s slowly developing these skills that she needs to say no here, to say no there, to kick herself in the butt when she needs to.”

“She knows that if you’re thinking clearly and you’re focused, there’s nothing you can’t do,” he went on. “Even if there is a relapse, it’s not the end of the world. There’s always hope, an

d there’s always people that are going to care about you.”

And Lohan said, “I have friends that are not sober… People are going to drink around me, that’s not not going to be a part of my life… They wouldn’t be around me drinking if they knew I couldn’t handle it, and that’s how I know they’re my friends.”

The star later traveled to Shanghai to receive a fashion achievement award and do a shoot for a Chinese publication, before heading to the Sundance Film Festival in Utah to formally announce Inconceivable.

“My short term goals are to start this movie and finish this movie. Hopefully start another movie right after. My priority is to be on set,” said Lohan.

Harrell, now working with Lohan for seven months, said their “working relationship is okay” after some bumps along the way, before admitting he was returning to L.A., but hoped to work with her again soon.

“It’s complicated, but I can’t really discuss because of the confidentiality agreement,” he told the camera.

The documentary showcased tabloid headlines alleging Harrell quit because Lohan could no longer afford to pay him when the show wrapped regular filming.

Fast-forwarding to March, after the project’s premiere and six weeks after Harrell left, Lohan brought him back to New York, and he debunked the rumors about pay issues, but noted the job would be taken “day-by-day” now “like anything else in life.”

In early April, Lohan, as Gossip Cop reported, appeared on “The Late Show with David Letterman,” where they amusing called Oprah.

“It’s strange how things fall into place in life, when you’re in a good place and you’re okay with being a good place,” the star said afterward.

But Lohan ran into a hiccup when her landlord wanted to sell her apartment, even though she signed a 2-year lease, and jokingly vowed to “scare away” prospective buyers.

And then trouble came with the leaked “sex list.”

“That was part of my Betty Ford — it’s step number 5 or step number 8. It’s your sexual inventory. So that was really personal to my sponsor,” explained Lohan. “When I was moving, there were two people there that helped me move…. Someone took a photo, and I’m pretty sure I know who it s, unfortunately… took that photo and released that.”

She went on, “And that’s not about me. I don’t care about me in that situation. I care about the people who are involved with other people, because it’s really unfortunate and unfair to other people.”

The fact that that happened was not only humiliating but it was just mean. It was mean-spirited for someone to dot hat. That’s a desperate human being [who is] really fucked up in the head.”

Asked to reflect on the documentary experience, Lohan said, “I cried so many times watching it.”

Then she got emotional.

“No one knows this, I had a miscarriage for those two weeks that I took off,” she shockingly confessed, saying times she didn’t want to film were because she “couldn’t move.”

“I was sick. And mentally that messes with you,” said Lohan.

She did NOT name the father of the baby.

She continued through tears , “Even if it’s not my intention to lose everything I’ve worked for, that’s what my addiction will do to me… It’s a really fucked up disease, and it’s really scary. Because there are drugs people have said that I’ve done that I’ve never touched.”

Now Lohan was looking to her movie shoot starting in June.

“I’m happy,” she said. “The biggest thing I learned from his experience and doing this show is my work ethic is different. I have that fire back in me.”

An ‘extremely worried’ Liam Hemsworth reaches out to Miley Cyrus

miam

Liam Hemsworth has reportedly gotten in touch with ex-fiancee Miley Cyrus, who has been hospitalized since earlier this week after an allergic reaction to some medication, over concerns for her well-being.

The actor "still cares about Miley" according to website Showbiz Spy, which reports that a source told them about Liam's concern.

"He was extremely worried when he heard Miley was hospitalized, so he got in touch to find out how she is... They didn’t work out as a couple, but he still wants to know that she’s okay," the source said.

Liam and Miley split last Septemeber after just over a year of being engaged. They met and began dating in 2009 while filming "The Last Song."

Miley had a severe allergic reaction to some antibiotics she was taking for a sinus infection on Tuesday, and was hospitalized and forced to cancel two shows in Missouri. Doctors said the reaction could take up to nearly a month to subside.

The singer was forced to cancel the remaining U.S. dates on her "Bangerz" world tour, all of which will be rescheduled later this year. The European leg of the tour is set to kick off on May 2, and she should be cleared to head back out on the road by then.

Miley has been vocal on twitter about being cooped up in a hospital room for the last few days.

"I hate this. & I hate hospitals. & I hate needles. & I hate laying in a bed bored AF (as f**k) & I hate feeling like crap," she said after just her first day.

Actor criticises today's female popstars for 'conventional' music and 'selling sex'

article-2608701-1D34EE3B00000578-105_634x487

Rupert Everett has criticised today’s female pop stars because of their ‘elephant ankles’, ‘massive thighs’ and habit of selling sex.

In an interview in this weekend’s Event magazine, Everett, the star of films such as My Best Friend’s Wedding and Shakespeare In Love, calls Beyoncé an out-of-control egomaniac and dismisses Lady Gaga’s music as too conventional.

He says: ‘All these girls in pop, from Miley Cyrus to Beyoncé to Rihanna, overtly sell sex. They are practically naked in their videos.’

article-2608701-1D0DE8C700000578-844_306x423article-2608701-1D2A398700000578-850_306x423

He adds: ‘Gaga is the most interesting of the lot of them; she does have true ideas, although her music is terribly conventional.’

Everett, 54, who is openly gay, says none of the stars matches his idea of feminine beauty. ‘I grew up with the idea of female beauty being delicate with long, slim legs. Now it’s terribly “in” for women to have these huge great legs with massive thighs.’

The actor is particularly scathing about Beyoncé, who he says has ‘elephant ankles’. He adds: ‘She and her husband Jay-Z live like a modern-day Greek god and goddess. It’s unbelievable.’

What do you think, ONTD? Is Gaga the most interesting pop star? Does Beyoncé have elephant ankles? Let me know in the comments below.

'She told me she needed to murder Hannah Montana'

Dolly Parton reveals goddaughter Miley Cyrus has her 'very worried'

When Miley Cyrus told her that she needed 'to murder Hannah Montana,' Dolly Parton started to worry.

The 68-year-old country music star has come forward to talk about her concerns for Miley, her goddaughter, in an interview with The Sun.

Dolly stressed how concerned she is for 21-year-old Miley as she attempts to distance herself from her squeaky-clean image with risque performances on stage.

'One day she’d had enough and told me: "I need to murder Hannah Montana in order for people to accept who I really am,"' Dolly told The Sun.

'I think she felt she had to make that severe a change. And she obviously did.

'I’m hoping that she holds it in the road and doesn’t do so many things that are that bizarre. I don’t think the crowd would be so forgiving again if she did anything else that was really offensive. I don’t want it to overshadow her talent.'

Dolly, who has been a friend of Billy Ray Cyrus for years and was named Miley's godmother, said that she is shocked and 'very worried' by Miley's nonchalant attitude towards drugs.

The Wrecking Ball singer - who has now postponed her US Bangerz tour until August following her illness - has admitted to trying cocaine and enjoying marijuana.

'I think weed is the best drug on earth. One time I smoked a joint with peyote in it, and I saw a wolf howling at the moon,' Miley told Rolling Stone last year, adding: 'I really don't like coke. It's so gross and so dark.'

'She tried her best to make that transition from Hannah Montana to be allowed to be Miley but people just would not have it.

'It reminded me of what happened to one of our great old stars of the past, Shirley Temple.

'As a little girl she was so great, but then she started to grow up. And people didn’t want her to grow up. They got mad at her.

'Well, that’s how everyone has been with Miley,' Dolly dished, adding: 'I was very worried. I was holding my breath, hoping that people didn’t totally crucify her. But she felt she had to make a place for herself in this pop world.'

After all she's said, Dolly still is hoping Miley turns out for the best.

'If she is as smart as I think she is, I think she’ll make the right decisions.'

Miley Cyrus: "This hospitals full of a bunch of QUACKS!"

Miley Cyrus Postpones More Shows Due to Illness

Miley Cyrus is postponing two more stops on her Bangerz tour – in Nashville and Louisville – as she remains in the hospital after suffering a severe allergic reaction to antibiotics several days ago.

And she's not happy about it.

"Sick of waking up to needles," Cyrus, 21, Tweeted early Friday morning, adding this hashtag: "#goingthruit." She also added the hashtag "#floydfriday," referring to her beloved dog Floyd, who passed away earlier in the month.

In more Tweets, Cyrus lashed out over reports that have skewed the reports of her medical condition. "So many ignorant stories out there no one is reading the official statement and these dumb asses are scaring my fans," she wrote in one. "Shut the f–– up and let me heal," she wrote in another. "Stop scaring my family, friends and fans."

She then linked to the official statement, which was released earlier this week and explains how she suffered an extreme allergic reaction to the antibiotic she was prescribed to treat a sinus infection.

According to her rep, Cyrus will remain hospitalized until her condition improves, which means potentially more canceled shows.

The Nashville show has been rescheduled for August 7, while the Louisville show has been moved to August 9. All tickets will be honored, according to the venues.
